Gassco is involved in several R&D projects for development of robotic solutions . Our most important driver for the development and use of these robotic solutions is HSE. In addition there is a significant cost saving potential, and new ways to document the condition of the assets.
Together with the technical service provider, Shell, at the Nyhamna process facility in Norway, Gassco preformed several inspections of pressure vessels with use of robotic solution at Nyhamna processing plant this year.
