Waygate Technologies Robotics (WTR)
Our company was founded in 2006 as ALSTOM Inspection Robotics and transitioned to GE in 2015. In 2020, the business was acquired by Waygate Technologies (WT), a Baker Hughes business. Waygate Technologies is an industrial inspection solutions company and world leader in non-destructive testing (NDT). Waygate Technologies Robotics develops mobile inspection robots for large-scale facilities in the field of power generation and industrial processing. These devices increase the availability of facilities thanks to shorter servicing intervals, and improve safety for people and the environment. Inspection Robotics’ products are characterized by innovation, everyday reliability and a robustness appropriate for industrial conditions.
our drivers
It is of great importance that the availability of large-scale facilities such as power plants, refineries, chemical resp. petrochemical installations, or facilities for accessing, extracting and transporting oil and gas should be as seamless as possible. The operators of these facilities do their utmost to prevent unscheduled downtimes, as these cause losses amounting to millions – every day.
our mission
Waygate Technologies Robotics enables its customers to inspect large-scale technical facilities quickly, precisely and automatically. Relevant inspection findings can be repeated at any given moment and compared with data from previous inspections. Our robots enable operators to plan outages more precisely and reduce downtime. This makes facilities more available and profitable, as well as boosting the safety of people and the environment.
our vision
WTR’s vision is to be the world’s leading provider of state-of-the-art but highly robust robotic inspection technology. Collaboration with leading industrial partners and world leading universities ensure a continuous process of innovation. We will lead by the combination of technology and field service expertise in the digital world.
